    Description

    This is an evergreen dense, compact shrub with thick, glossy dark green oval leaves, undersides are paler green. Fragrant white flowers bloom in late spring to early summer and then are followed by blue-black berries. Plant in sun or light shade and water regularly. Commonly used as hedges or screens can be trimmed for topiaries. They are hardy to below 15 degrees F.
